Coaches

CGA is known for its clinics in which it offers many useful tools for coaches. Our clinics are requested by coaches to cover a specific facet of the sport or an overview of all the fundamentals within that sport. Our Head Instructor’s knowledge is considered advanced, therefore when a fundamental is taught it normally has something added or explained in a way that teaches both the coach and player something new.

Our clinics are conducted in an instructional approach which leaves little to question on the topic when finished. Our clinics are not run for our staff to just watch and run drills, unless requested. We believe that we are hired for our knowledge and that once given that knowledge, coaches can run their own drills to incorporate what has been taught.

We always allow questions because we never want to leave a clinic with an athlete not understanding the philosophies or fundamentals we have stressed for the sake of the improvement of his or her play.

Clinics are available on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like to learn from the Head Instructor of your particular sport then book your clinic now.
BASKETBALL COACHES
The most requested clinic is the SHOOTING CLINIC taught by the Shooting Scientist Shooting is, to many, the most entertaining aspect of the game. Teams need to score to win games. And, fortunately, shooting and scoring are skills that individuals and teams can continually improve upon. Proven science is used to teach the perfect shot, assuring coaches that their players are learning the most accurate way to shoot.

The ONE-ON-ONE and TRIPLE THREAT CLINICS look at how to dominate the defensive player by attacking what he or she is giving up. It also includes instruction on reading the defense and utilizing the dribble to its full potential.
CGA instructors do hold coaching clinics that are targeted to showing coaches new drills, plays, and philosophies. We provide coaches with a better understanding of how to accomplish their team’s goals and how to maximize a specific player’s potential so that both personal and team goals can be attained.
